September 3rd, 2008 | by admin |

Google launched its much ambitious and mostly camouflaged stand-alone open source application called Chrome. A browser developed for windows vista/xp using open source browser engine webkit.

Early, Google Blogoscoped has published a lengthly cartoon sent to them by Google and drawn by Scott McCloud that provides the first public details about Google Chrome, an open source browser based on WebKit and powered by Google Gears that has been rumored but never before confirmed.

Many of features resemble Firefox, making it easier to easily remember certain frequently used keys like Open Tab(Ctl+T) and seach box(Ctrl+K).
